Subsidy for Training - Apply Online Now, Holts Academy of Jewellery

From today you are able to apply online for support and subsidy towards training and development for you, your business or your staff through our Bespoke Training and Technology Project.

The project aims to support individuals (in the trade or wishing to enter the trade) and businesses in the London Jewellery Trade with support and skills in new technology and manufacturing methods in order to foster increased personal and business success and profitability.

The online application takes around ten minutes to complete and those who are accepted will receive up to 50% support towards the cost of training and development activities.

Change Act Share:

ChangeActShare is the central communications project for the Jewellery Sector Investment Plan (JSIP). The project co-ordinates communications to ensure that jewellery and silversmithing businesses are aware of support opportunities across London through its website, newsletters, events and:

Agencies across London providing business support and training meet quarterly to share information, good practice and make new connections.

Manufacturers' network:

Because the industry relies on personal recommendation, ChangeActShare has established a manufacturers network with a view to maximising contracting opportunities.

Workspace and facilities :

The project helps negotiate workspace or funds to support the industry through planning agreements with developers. It also manages the Langdales building which houses start-up studios, Holts Academy of Jewellery and a meeting room available for hire.

London Jewellery First:

ChangeActShare provides the administrative and PR support for this industry group who are supporting the delivery of JSIP and promoting collaboration within the industry.
