Artist in Residence, John Mason School, Oxfordshire
John Mason School - a visual and performing arts specialist college in the Abingdon Schools Partnership - require an artist in residence for September 2008 to July 2009 as part of the school's programme of activities associated with it's specialist status. The selected artist/designer will work within the art and design departments, partner schools and with the wider community, and might be an established practitioner or newly graduated student. They are open to considering all media and approaches, but are particularly keen to engage an artist who emphasises the use of drawing and process as well as ?nal pieces. A working space will be established and the purpose-built O6 Gallery will provide a venue for exhibiting work. There may also be an opportunity to teach twilight or holiday workshops for additional pay.
Salary: £18,907 - £20,736 (FTE, Grade 7)
Hours: 10 hours per week, during term time
