Membership Administrator, the National Association of Goldsmiths, London EC2

(Maternity Cover September 2008 – March 2009)

 

The National Association of Goldsmiths is looking for a Membership Administrator to promote membership of the Association and to maintain effective and professional relations with our members.  The role covers the administration of the recruitment process of new members, to develop and support their recruitment through appropriate means and to maintain detailed records.

 

The Association is looking for someone with energy, good sense, flair and strong social and administrative skills who will identify closely and knowledgeably with the aims of the Association and who can demonstrate a successful track record in customer care and administration. Experience with an Association of another not-for-profit organisation would be an advantage but not essential. Willing to undertake some limited travel with the UK.

 

The role would suit someone who has: good people and customer care skills with the ability to foster long term relationships with members and partners; a good standard of English both spoken and written; 

extensive administrative experience including working with databases; utmost discretion and the ability to work effectively with little supervision after training.

 

The National Association of Goldsmiths is situated on the edge of the City of London and has been in existence since 1894.  The position is full time and the hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.  Please contact Amanda Reavell for an informal chat about the position or any further information.
